My wife and I will be attending this "relatively close" Jackie concert.
We have not seen Jackie perform since her Boettcher Concert Hall appearance in Denver Colorado, which occurred December 15, 2015, when Jackie was 15 years old!
So, it's been over 5 years - and now she is nearly a 20 year old adult - my, but how time does fly!
We will be sitting in ORCH, ROW E, SEATS 19, 20
We are arriving in Colorado Springs early Saturday afternoon, February 29, and will be staying in the downtown area at The Antlers hotel.
There is a 6PM dinner at the Pike's Peak Center in the Broadmoor World Arena, and you are welcome to join my wife and I, if you are attending. (You must purchase dinner tickets through the Broadmoor (719) 477-2100.)
NOTE: YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE TICKETS FOR YOUR DINNERS. YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO THE NORTHEAST (BOX OFFICE) ENTRANCE OF PIKES PEAK CENTER, WHERE YOUR SHOW TICKETS WILL BE SCANNED, AND YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO DINNER.
Hope to see you there!

My wife and I just arrived back home to SW Nebraska, from out trip to see Jackie at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts in Colorado Springs, Colorado. One more incredible Jackie performance!
FIRST SET
1.Pure Imagination (Willie Wonka) 2. Some Enchanted Evening (South Pacific) 3.Reflection (Mulon)
Jackie converses with audience, and reveals she has a cold - messes up her "N's" and "M's"
4. Phantom of the Opera melody A. Music of the Night B. *Unknown* - Never heard her sing this piece - not sure of the title! C. All I Ask of You
Jackie converses with audience again - explaining how, in this next song, she imagines herself in the part
5. I'm Not That Girl (Wicked) 6. She Used to be Mine (Waitress) Jackie explains that her two "idols" are Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion - and how Celine Dion "absolutely crushed" this song ...
7. My Heart Will Go On (Titanic)
*** Musical Interlude - West Side Story theme ***
8. Somewhere (West Side Story)
Jackie dedicates this next song to her Great Grandmother - who, she explains, wanted Jackie to sing this at her funeral. Jackie then also dedicates the song to her recently deceased Great Grandfather, her dog "Dewy," and her Aunt Roz.
9. How Great Thou Art
***20 MINUTE INTERMISSION***
SECOND SET
10. Misty (Johnny Mathis) - Jackie sings this in a bluesy jazz style, while sitting - and she absolutely kills it ... Eat yer heart out, Johnny, cause Jackie now owns this song.
Jackie comments how this next number is an "angry song" - and laments that she could not get to see the show herself.
11. Burn (Hamilton) 12. Requiem (Dear Evan Hansen) 13. Falling Slowly (Once)
Jackie says she used to think this was a Christmas song - "because, well, duhhh! - it says December!"
14. Once Upon a December (Anastasia)
Jackie dedicates this next number to "Juliette"
15. Another Day / No Day But Today (Rent)
***Musical Interlude - Wizard of Oz theme ***
16. Somewhere Over the Rainbow (The Wizard of Oz)
"Now, it's time for my 'Thank Yous'" ... Jackie thanks the musicians, introducing them by name ... Then thanks the audience, as we being the reason for her success. She dedicates the next song to her fans ...
17. The Impossible Dream (Man of La Mancha)
*** LONG STANDING OVATION! ***
18. O Mio Bambino Caro (Gianni Schicchi) ... then climax from Nessun Dorma (Turandot)

Great review as always hiturbine!
On an unrelated matter, I am new to this forum, so I am wondering if a certain TV program is open to discussion, or if mums the word about it here?

nowknightly - I don't know to what program you refer? And, since I do not watch television, it is likely I will not recognize the name, even if you tell me!
