The following was in my ticket confirmation email for the Ocean City, NJ 24 Nov concert:
Jackie Evancho wll also be featured on November 23rd Christmas in the Downtown - "Our Miracle on Asbury Avenue " in front of City Hall. Entertainment to begin at 4:00pm
Not sure what the 23rd appearance will consist of. That event usually appears to have some entertainment consisting of local performers, an appearance by Santa (in the past, descending from the roof of City Hall), etc. The entire event typically runs 2-5pm; presumably a fairly typical local Thanksgiving/Christmas season event.
So it could be anything from wave at the crowd, to a couple of songs.

Where the heck is "Ocean City" ?? Maryland. There's more than one Ocean City. There's one in Maryland (where I presently live, and closer to me; but I'm not a Maryland native, so my local loyalties are weak), but the one Jackie performed at this summer, and will again on November 24, is in New Jersey. I seem to recall that Jackie really liked the venue, which is unusual for indoor music venues in that it has windows and (until nighttime) daylight, with an ocean view. For the summer performance, I gather the daylight meant that at the beginning of the performance at least, Jackie could see the audience, which may not often be the case where audiences are in darkness and she's got spotlights on her; perhaps that also was an element in her appreciation of the unusual characteristics of the venue (aside from just an opportunity to perform at the beach, of course ). There's also Census Designated Places (CDPs, not actual cities) called Ocean City in Florida and Washington (state). It's a pretty obvious name for a coastal town, so not surprising it's not unique. Similarly, there are five places (three in the US) called Oceanside (I've only been to the one in California, a long time ago; it was a very quiet beach town back then, as I recall). The Maryland and New Jersey cities are both beach resorts, on a long, narrow barrier spit (connected - the one in MD) or barrier island (disconnected - the one in NJ). I've been to both (if not often or for long periods), and I'd say they're not altogether dissimilar given that they're both beach resorts with similar geographic constraints, although my impression is that the one in NJ is perhaps a bit less hectic, with Atlantic City as a nearby competitor (although OC MD has Rehoboth Beach, Delaware as a nearby competitor), and with a ban on alcohol sales (AFAIK from looking it up) at the one in NJ. Aside from that, and of course which one Jackie is performing at , I think which one might prefer would be a matter of proximity, or familiarity, or personal taste. As I recall from looking them up, the permanent (non-tourist) population is about 8,000 for OC MD, and about 11,000 for OC NJ. Both have orchestras that serve the area (although the Mid-Atlantic Orchestra for OC MD performs in multiple venues in places as far as Baltimore MD, or Washington DC, more often elsewhere than in OC MD), while the Ocean City (NJ) Pops Orchestra performs mostly at their home venue (the Ocean City (NJ) Music Pier) or for nearby events. Given the larger year-round population at OC NJ and probably larger nearby population, I guess it makes sense that their year-round facilities would be a bit more active. edit: in case it's not entirely clear, I attended Jackie's performance in Ocean City, NJ on July 29th, arriving with a minute to spare (after fast driving to make up for a late start and bad traffic), the first time I was in OC NJ, and driving back home after the performance and some pizza at the sponsor's place nearby (call it three hours drive each way). So I didn't get to explore much at all, and my overall impression of the town is perhaps less complete than of the venue itself. By contrast, I've been to OC MD I think at least three times, including once for a couple of days, although all those were a number of years ago - the urge for beach isn't so compelling for me as to make that a regular event, esp. if during prime season, the traffic to get there and back is probably crazy (probably true enough to some degree for both locations); and esp. since the Internet became prominent - more than a few hours with limited connectivity or just a smartphone, and I get stir-crazy, no matter how majestic the vast vistas may be , and I'm not likely to lug a laptop or big tablet to the beach, unless I'm getting a room, which is expensive during prime season. I kind of prefer offseason anyway, for being quieter and cool enough that a hat and windbreaker for sun protection won't cook me.

Review and Setlist for "Christmas in Ocean City" concert; November 24th, 2018
Despite the weather outside being frightful (a lot of heavy rain and wind), I experienced a delightful "Christmas in Ocean City" concert. Jackie's voice was strong as usual and put on a great performance. She was accompanied by her musical director and pianist Peter Kiesewalter and a 8 piece string ensemble. For the first set, she wore a black and silver sparkling dress and for the second set she wore an all white sparkling dress. I tried to take pictures with my iPhone but all of them turned out over exposed do to the lighting (maybe Samsungs are better at taking pictures). I noticed Jackie's parents were present as well (Dad beside the stage and Mom sitting in the first row). Before the encore, Jackie had to take off her shoes on stage because she said her feet were killing her. Also during the encore (White Christmas), it snowed artificial snow.
Setlist:
Set 1: Believe Imagine/Ava Maria Think of Me Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire (The Christmas Song) If God be for us (Peter Kiesewalter on vocals and piano) My Favorite Things Wish You were Somehow Here Again O Mio Babbino Caro Impossible Dream
Intermission
Set 2: O Holy Night The First Noel Merry Christmas Darling How Great Thou Art (Standing Ovation) A Charlie Brown Christmas Song Medley (Peter Kiesewalter on piano) Walking in the Air I’ll be Home for Christmas Music of the Night (Standing Ovation) Somewhere O Come, All Ye Faithful (Standing Ovation)
Encore White Christmas (Standing Ovation)
